Pricing Actuary - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

A leading Lloyd's/London Market Insurer is looking to hire a Pricing Actuary to work on their bespoke economic lines of business. This is an excellent opportunity to join at a great time of growth for the company to support the underwriting side of the business and further develop its modelling and analytical capabilities. In this role you be creating bespoke pricing models, collaborating with underwriters, looking at data analysis and getting involved in business planning. Process improvement to existing models is also key for this role. This area of the business is a key strategic growth area for the company. For this role they can consider those from pricing or from capital modelling backgrounds. Individuals must be able to get to the London office frequently, and be confident in communicating with a range of audiences. Experience of SQL, Python, R or ReMetrica is also advantageous.
