Pricing Specialist - Freight - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

I'm recruiting for a Pricing Specialist to join an expanding freight forwarding company based in the Heathrow area. You must have AIR, OCEAN & ROAD freight experience.

Daily duties will include:

• Receiving customer quotations
• Air, ocean & road freight pricing import, export and cross trade
• Quoting on spot shipments from the network and tenders
• Negotiating rates with carriers, hauliers and suppliers
• Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within an agreed timeframe
• Communicate with customers to manage and follow up on all quotes, obtaining feedback to measure, analyse and circulate to relevant teams
• Track success and failure rate of quotes
• Develop and build relationships with customers
• Updating tariffs

Experience needed:

• Good knowledge of freight products and operational processes
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong numerical and commercial skills
• Excellent communication skills

Working hours:

• Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
