Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant based in the Leeds area. The ideal candidate will have experience working in childcare and be passionate about encouraging the development of their learning.

Requirments:

• A degree certificate
• A level 2 certificate in childcare
• The ability to communicate and liaise with parents and staff
• An Enhanced child DBS (or willingness to complete one)
• The Right to Work in the UK

Roles:

• Assist with the planning of learning activities by identifying and preparing resources required to support lesson plans and learning outcomes.
• Assisting pupils' achievements by monitoring, supporting and having strong communication with class teacher.
• Lead individual/small groups of children in teacher-led learning activities such as guiding reading, phonics and math's interventions.
• The ability to support children with Special Educational Needs
• Support children with their independence and confidence both inside and outside of the classroom
