As a supply teacher, you will have the chance to work in a variety of schools in Cambridge, gaining valuable experience and opening doors to other teaching opportunities. This diverse experience will enable you to make more informed decisions if you are looking to secure a permanent teaching role, as you will have a better understanding of your preferences and strengths.

Responsibilities:

• Keep records of student progression
• Covering across both EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on preference
• Adapt quickly to the different needs of children
• Safeguard children and manage disruptive behaviour

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
• Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential or equivalent qualification
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Strong classroom behaviour management skills are essential
