The Role: The school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about teaching and eager to inspire and support students as they transition through a critical stage in their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 5 students.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to the individual needs of all students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning and encourages student participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices and resources.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and report as required.
• Promote the well-being and safety of all students in accordance with school policies.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with relevant experience teaching in primary schools.
• A strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
• Experience in using a range of teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• A proactive and flexible approach to working within a team.
• An Enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
