Teaching Assistant

• Salary: £85 - £105 per day
• Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
• Job Type: Supply, Temporary, Full-time

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support Key Stage 1 and 2 classes. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and care to children. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on young lives.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support children with their social and emotional development.
• Assist with classroom management and organisation.
• Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
• Participate in school events and activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting.
• A relevant qualification in childcare or education is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
