Job Title: Year 4 Class Teacher

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire.

Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time.

Duration: 21st April 2025 - 22nd July 2025.

Working Days: Monday to Friday.

Salary: £130 - £220 per day, based on experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join our team for the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, helping to shape the educational journey of our students.

About: This school is a mixed primary community school located in Farnborough, Hampshire and we cater to students aged 7 to 11. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
  • Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school community.
  • Ensure a safe learning environment for both staff and pupils.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 4.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Planning Time:

  • Dedicated planning time will be incorporated into your weekly schedule to ensure you have the necessary time to prepare high-quality lessons and assessments.
