We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage Two Teacher at a great primary school in the Wakefield area, to make a positive impact on the class, and school. The role is full-time, starting in January on a long-term basis.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage Two.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
