Year 5 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Location: North Chesterfield Primary school

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our small, friendly primary school in Chesterfield. This is a full-time maternity cover position starting in January 2025 and will run until December 2025. Our school has a "Good" Ofsted rating, and we pride ourselves on our supportive and inclusive environment.

Position Details:

• Role: Year 5 Teacher (Maternity Cover)
• Start Date: January 2025
• End Date: December 2025
• Basis: Full-time 8.30am - 3.30pm plus parents evenings
• Responsibilities: Full teaching responsibilities including planning, assessment and meetings
• Suitable for Early Career Teachers?: Yes, induction can be supported

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience delivering the curriculum to Upper Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Commitment to creating an engaging, positive learning environment
