Primary Teaching Assistant - Prospero Teaching : Job Details

TA - Wigan:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in KS1 classes in a lovely primary school near Wigan. This is a full time position. The successful candidate will have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification and previous experience working with primary school aged children.

Position Details:

• Location: Wigan
• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 8:15am-3:45pm
• Type of work: Temporary
• Full time/part time: Full time only
• Minimum rate of pay: £100 per day depending on experience
• Start date: January 2025
• End date: ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications-

• Teaching Assistant experience or an equivalent qualification is required
• Up to date Safeguarding training in the last year (desirable but training can be provided if necessary)
• Relevant experience working with children of primary school age

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
