Randstad is working with an exceptional school in Duxford to identify motivated people who are ready to advance their own abilities as well as those of their students. Practical on-the-job training and continuous assistance from a group of knowledgeable employees are offered by our partner school. You will have the opportunity to pursue your love of learning in this term-time position by helping students ages 4 to 11 with their academic, social, and emotional development. If you have caregiving experience or have worked with children in the past, a teaching assistant position can be the ideal next step for you.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential
• Engaging and interactive teaching style
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
• Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Motivate and inspire young learners
• Track student progress and collaborate with parents
• Attend children's personal needs, including minor first aid, and offer guidance on pastoral, social health, physical hygiene, and welfare matters.
