Primary Teaching Assistant - Westminster - Outstanding School

The Head Teacher of a thriving primary school based in Westminster is looking to recruit several Graduate Teaching Assistants to support students across KS1 & KS2.

In this Teaching Assistant role you will be supporting children 1:1 and in small groups, running reading & literacy interventions in addition to providing general classroom assistance. This Teaching Assistant role requires an immediate start and will operate on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Strong academic background including GCSEs, A Levels and a Degree (2:1 or above)
• Perfect for a bright English graduate who is considering Primary Teaching
• Previous experience working in a child-related environment is essential
• Passionate, confident and enthusiastic personality
• Must hold an enhanced DBS (we can assist in your application for this)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Primary Teaching Assistant
• Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups
• Running booster literacy & reading interventions
• Supporting children with mild SEN & EAL
• £85 - £100 per day
• Long-term - full-time
