Principal Acoustic Consultant

My client is a well-established independent consultancy specialising in architectural and environmental acoustics, is seeking a dedicated Acoustic Consultant to join their team. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across rural, urban, and industrial settings in the United Kingdom.

Requirements:

• A BSc and/or MSc in Acoustics or a related field, coupled with membership with the Institute of Acoustics
• A valid UK driver's licence
• Previous experience with EIA-scale projects within the renewable energy sector or general construction environment
• Proficiency in conducting noise assessments and surveys for energy infrastructure-related projects

Responsibilities:

• Close coordination with all stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Collaborating at all stages of a project's lifecycle
• Executing background noise surveys and predictions to create noise chapters for EIA and other supporting documents
• The use of advanced problem-solving and workplace best practices to uphold company integrity
