Principal Civil Engineer - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

Bennett and Game are currently working with a client With a focus on some of the UK's most intricate projects spanning Tunnelling, Energy, Transport, and Water sectors based form their London or Manchester office. The Principal Tunnel Engineer will be working with a have a vison to deliver quality and sustainability projects that positively impacted society. Offering a salary up to £70,000, Hybrid and flexible working options as well as Healthcare and Life Insurance.

The Principal Civil Engineer will have at least 8 years' experience within Civil Engineering and have proven tunnelling and underground space experience on major infrastructure projects using BIM.

• Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

• Strong academic background in civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 8 years' experience, ideally with Chartered Status
• Expertise in tunnelling and underground space on Infrastructure projects
• Track record of commercial success
• Proficiency in BIM and other design software
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations

• Lead an engineering team of 2 with minimal supervision
• Work on a range of projects at varying value
• Temporary Works experience would be advantageous
• Foster staff performance and development through guidance and feedback
• Manage projects of varying sizes to high standards
• Collaborate closely with teams and clients to deliver value-led solutions
• Work autonomously, meet deadlines, and handle tender submissions
• Ensure technical delivery and compliance with industry standards
• Lead day to day technical discussions
