Principal Ecologist

Cardiff £40,000-£50,000

I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Principal Ecologist to join an exciting team in Cardiff! This consultancy are expanding and are looking for someone friendly and enthusiastic to join them. You will get the opportunity to provide specialist ecological input on a wide range of projects while supporting the team through giving advice on surveys, strategies, and mitigation.

The role involves:

• Providing senior support and specialist knowledge to ecological projects.
• Management of large-scale projects and ecology team members.
• Tendering and budgeting.

Requirements include:

• Experience in the ecological industry, including leading a team.
• EIA experience and knowledge of planning systems.
• Experience of mitigation strategies and licencing.
