Principal Pre-Sales Consultant (Security Technology)

Salary: £90,000 to £120,000 (Based on Candidate Experience)

Package: Above market bonus + Excellent Company Benefits

Hybrid Model: Remote (Ad-hoc visits to Central London likely)

About the Role:

A leading UK based IT consultancy is seeking an experienced Product Development Consultant with experience within technology based environments to take ownership and provide innovation in product / service development projects.

With extensive technical expertise and a deep understanding of market needs, the Principal Consultant (PC) will play a crucial role in shaping the organization’s service offerings. The PC will be responsible for being the mind behind providing innovative, high-quality delivery of consultancy services, preparing proposals and statements of work on behalf of the organisation.

Responsibilities :

• Pre-Sales delivery; including technical, resourcing and commercial specification of major projects across cyber security and the enterprise technology stack.
• Creation of solutions that provide Security, automation and AI driven operations to customers
• Provide expertise in the creation of solutions that provide Security, automation and AI driven operations to customers
• Creation of document agreements and Statement of Works.

Essential Technical Knowledge: Candidates MUST have demonstrable experience in most of, or all of the following core technology components:

• Cyber Security Technology (Essential)
• Hypervisor, Containerisation
• Operating Systems, Compute
• Orchestration, Automation
• Artificial Intelligence / ML concepts
• Storage, Network
• Cloud Platform & Cloud Services

Candidate experience:

• Strong professional background in major IT Services / Consultancy / Managed Service Providers
• Excellent experience in high-level presentations and consulting to CEO / Director level
• Very strong Pre-Sales experience / Technical Design capabilities (medium to large engagements)
• Demonstrable experience in pre-sales solution design and implementation of products and services
• Excellent consulting, communication and interpersonal skills
