Principal Scientist - WALKER COLE INTERNATIONAL LTD : Job Details

Walker Cole is currently supporting a well-established CDMO in hiring for a Principal Scientist. This person will have specific expertise in spray drying and provide technical support for the Formulation Development Scientists.

Responsibilities of Principal Scientist:

• Lead and balance formulation development projects, combining hands-on work with team oversight.
• Ensure the scientific integrity of Formulation Development studies, particularly in spray drying to meet regulatory and cGMP standards.
• Mentoring and training junior team members.
• Support business development by assessing technical RFPs, attending client meetings, and managing client relationships to drive departmental revenue growth.

Requirements of Principal Scientist:

• Degree in a relevant scientific subject.
• Experience developing drug product formulations and processes for Phase I, II, and III pharmaceutical development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in pharmaceutical development, GMP manufacturing, and packaging processes.
