Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a Planning & Heritage Consultancy with 35+ staff spread across 4 offices across the UK on the hire of a Principal Town Planner. This is a permanent role with part-time & full-time applicants welcome to apply.
Our client offers a full range of planning services to meet their clients needs throughout the development process - from initial site assessment, through to long-term asset management. They have been successfully working with stakeholder for close to 20 years to achieve their client's development objectives.
The successful Principal Town Planner will work with a variety of clients, on a true range of projects (from residential to commercial to retail to many others) and provide the following services;
-Specialist assessments
-Site promotion
-Application delivery
-Asset management
-Appeals & inquiries
Requirements to apply
-Planning degree or similar
-MRTPI (or close to submitting)
-Private sector experience preferable
-Commercial awareness
-Strong communication skills (stakeholder liaison and negotiation)
