Print Finisher - Devonshire Appointments : Job Details

We are currently looking for a Finishing & Promotions Operator to join a leading business communications company based in the Nottingham, Sutton in Ashfield. As the Multi-skilled Operator, you will be responsible for managing the operation of machines in the Finishing & Promotions area, maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety at all times.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Multi-skilled experienced Print Finisher will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. Ensuring the correct job is on the machine, including code/version verification.2. Obtaining an "OK to Proceed" from the Cell Leader or Finishing BUC once make-ready is completed.3. Monitoring and maintaining the quality of work produced.4. Making adjustments to maintain quality and output.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Multi-skilled Operator, you must be able to operate a number of machines including guillotines, folders, stitchers plus more, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant degree or City and Guilds qualification.2. Proven industry experience in a similar role.3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Health and Safety requirements.

£15.86 per hr, 37.5 hrs per week on a 3-shift rotation, early morning- 6am - 13:30pm, afternoon- 13:30pm - 21:00pm, nights 21:00pm - 6am.
