Private Client Solicitor

• Salary Range: £45,000 - £70,000 (Depending on Experience)
• Location: Tunbridge Wells
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid

We are seeking a dedicated Private Client Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE to join an expanding team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in private client law to contribute to our growth and success. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on complex inheritance tax issues, drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, as well as estate administration and court of protection applications.

Day to Day of the Role:

• Advising clients on a range of private client matters including complex inheritance tax issues.
• Drafting legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Administering estates and handling applications to the court of protection.
• Working under the guidance of the Head of Private Client and collaborating with the team.
• Demonstrating business development skills to contribute to the growth of the department.
• Managing a busy caseload with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-4 years PQE in private client law.
• Experience in a busy private client department within a large regional or well-known firm.
• Excellent technical ability in private client matters.
• Strong organisational, IT, and document management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly.
• Commercially astute with proven business development skills.
• Self-starter capable of working under their own initiative.
