Description
- Provide expert tax advice to a portfolio of private clients (HNWI/high profile clients)
- Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of service are maintained
- Stay updated with changes in tax legislation, communicating these to clients where necessary
- Collaborate with other members of the tax team on complex tax matters
- Prepare tax returns and other necessary documentation
- Assist in the development of junior team members
- Contribute to the growth of the tax department through business development activities
- Ensure all work complies with internal procedures and professional standards
- A split of 50% compliance & 50% advisory
Profile
A successful Private Client Tax Assistant Manager should have:
- A professional tax or accounting qualification (CTA or ACA)
- Proven experience in a tax-focused role within professional services
- A comprehensive understanding of UK tax legislation
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- A commitment to continuing professional development
- The ability to work effectively in a team and independently
