About the Role

As the Private Client Tax Manager/Senior Tax Manager, you'll be instrumental in providing high-quality, tailored tax advisory services in collaboration with the Tax Partner. This role places a strong emphasis on advisory and report writing, offering comprehensive, in-depth advice on complex private client matters. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Advisory Focus: Lead on advisory work in areas like Inheritance Tax, Estate Planning, Trusts, and International tax matters, delivering clear, actionable advice to clients.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse client portfolio, managing workflows, fees, and billing processes effectively.
• Report Writing: Draft detailed, high-quality tax reports that offer meaningful insights and guidance for clients.
• Team Development: Provide mentorship to junior team members, contributing to their growth and development within the firm.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:

• Technical Expertise: Strong technical tax knowledge, particularly in private client matters like Inheritance Tax, Trusts, and international tax.
• Professional Qualifications: CTA or equivalent, with proven experience in private client tax advisory.
• Client Handling Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Leadership & Ownership: A proactive approach to project ownership, ensuring high-quality standards and effective delegation within the team.
• Mentorship Abilities: Experience in mentoring, with a collaborative attitude and a commitment to fostering a supportive team environment.
• Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented, with a structured approach to managing multiple deadlines effectively.
