Joining this team means working on some of the world's most exciting financial operations and business deals, enhancing your experience and expertise alongside industry leaders.Role OverviewThe Financial Sponsor Coverage team is responsible for developing, institutionalizing, leading, and managing long-term commercial relationships with financial sponsors, including PE. This role aims to create a competitive advantage and drive sustainable, responsible, and profitable revenue growth. You'll open doors and create fee opportunities for other partners while building the firm's brand and reputation by delivering all our resources to clients. This is an exciting opportunity to manage relationships with existing sponsors and expand our coverage to new ones.Desired Skills and Experience* Understanding of PE managers' operations and mindset.* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or relevant experience in a coverage or transactional role.* Existing network and relationships with decision-makers at mid and upper-mid market PE houses and broader financial and professional services industry.* Solution-oriented mindset with a client-centric approach, thriving on building long-term trusted client relationships with a proven track record in internal and external networking.* Ability to identify client issues and articulate solutions.* Strong communication, listening, influencing, and interpersonal skills.* Ability to build collaborative relationships in line with our values.* Strong business/commercial acumen with a goal and results-oriented approach.* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.* Strong quantitative, numerical, and analytical skills.* Proficiency in working with data and research tools, gathering intelligence from various sources, and developing strategies for pursuing new business opportunities.* Independent, self-starter mindset with a creative approach and a positive, 'can do' attitude.* Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel, and tools like PowerBI for creating dashboards and reports.
