Job Description :

Our client, a successful and expanding company based in the Surrey/London area, is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their manufacturing department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the company's growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and operational support for daily production operations and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor daily performance to ensure processes are controlled and operating safely.
  • Conduct analytical assessments to enhance the efficiency and performance of process segments, with a focus on safety, cost reduction, throughput, and expansion.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to technicians.
  • Translate process improvement concepts into practical and effective manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in commissioning and validation of new manufacturing plants.
  • Support the introduction of new commercial products in line with company growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of a BSc in Chemical Engineering, BEng, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Proven ability to manage short- and long-term projects effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
  • Exposure to Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cGMP, ISO9001, and ISO14001 operating standards.
