Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst - Si Recruitment : Job Details

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst to join a fast-paced team in Hartlepool. The right candidate will be good with numbers, adaptable, and able to solve problems while managing their workload effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk & Contract Management: Review stock and contracts, identify risks, and find cost-saving opportunities through strategic procurement.
• Stock Reconciliation: Handle daily stock checks across various locations and ensure accurate reporting.
• Audit Preparation: Help prepare for ISO 9001 and 14001 audits to ensure we meet compliance standards.
• Financial Processes: Manage month-end tasks like stock reconciliation, pre-payments, and journal reports.
• Supplier Relationships: Build positive relationships with suppliers to maintain quality and cost standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• CIPS Level 3 or AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data analysis tools is helpful.
• Previous experience in supply chain or stock management is preferred but not required.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Job Information:

• Location: Hartlepool
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
• Salary: £30,000 per year
• Holidays: 25 days plus Statutory Bank Holidays
• Study Support: Fully funded (available after successfully completing probation)
