We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Category Manager to join our Procurement team based in Leeds!As our new Procurement Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives for a variety of categories across MPS, alongside ensuring optimal supplier performance and driving cost savings, through robust stakeholder management and negotiation skills to achieve best value for money.Our Procurement Category Manager’s own a portfolio of contracts and services, working alongside cost centre owners and business leaders, include C-Suite and our Executive Board, to help embed a 'cost-conscious’ mindset and promote the financial sustainability of MPS.
