Procurement Management - DCT Recruitment : Job Details

DCT Recruitment Ltd are looking for a permanent Procurement Manager to work with a Steel and Glass company.Responsibilities:Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needsPerforming all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender managementDelegating tasks and supervising the work of Purchasing and Procurement Agents across all departmentsIdentifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business resultsLeading a team of Purchasing Agents and delegate tasks across departments when necessaryManaging overall direction, coordination and evaluation of procurement for the organisationDeveloping strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve businessCreating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigationThis role is full time in the office and hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5.30pmKnowledge in Steel and Glass is an advantage, but not essential.3-5 years experience in procurement. Skills:Financial and numerical skillsHigh-level of attention to detailExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional talent in negotiating and networkingSolid knowledge of supplier or third-party management softwareExceptional communication skills with the ability to foster strong supplier relationships
