Procurement Manager - Noble Recruiting : Job Details

A leading manufacturer are searching for a Procurement Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team.

This role will play a key position within the Management Team, supporting with informed strategic and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for Managing the Procurement function and overseeing the company's sourcing capabilities and supply chain. You will have 2 direct reports.

• Forecasting levels of demand for products and services
• Researching the best products and supplies for Value, delivery schedules and quality
• Budget & forecasting responsibilities
• Manage the daily operations
• Negotiate and agree contracts whilst monitoring the quality of service
• Maintain supplier relationships
• Attend supplier meetings and trade conferences
• Work with quality team ensuring products are the best quality
• Develop and implement new strategies within the organisational goals and business plan
• Cost saving strategies
• Identify procurement risks
• Analyse data to produce reports and statistics on spending vs savings
• Leading the team - motivating, training and coaching
• Holding monthly 1-2-1

Your Experience

• Extensive knowledge within Inventory and supply chain management
• CIPS - Level 6 or working towards
• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager managing a team
