Our client, a leading London Market Insurance firm are seeking an interim Procurement Manager to support with IT and technology sourcing and contract management activity over a three month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support business units with the full procurement process which includes development of scope, supplier selection, commercial negotiation and contract execution
- Develop appropriate due diligence process for suppliers, escalating identified risks, and ensure information is kept up to date
- Develop global strategies, buying and sourcing tactics in alignment with category strategies
- Manage a formal tendering process, including comparing and evaluating supplier submissions
- Undertake supplier relationship management throughout the contract lifecycle via regular reviews
- Assure compliance with regulatory requirements in all procurement activities
- Support development of the wider procurement agenda
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Candidates must have end to end Procurement experience
- Candidates must have demonstrable procurement experience across IT and Technology categories.
- Good relationship and negotiation skill
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to monitor and review ongoing contracts using a mixture of quantitative and qualitative measures
- Insurance or Financial services experience is desirable.
