Procurement Manager |Public Sector | £40,000 - £50,000Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with David Ross Education Trust (DRET) who are a 36 school multi academy trust who include both primary and secondary schools in the appointment of their Procurement Manager. They have schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire and this role provides the unique opportunity for you to be based in either of these areas in a school local to you due to the back office functions being spread across these three areas. Procurement Manager RemitDRET are expanding their Procurement function and are in the process of appointing a Head of Procurement to replace the departing Procurement Manager, they have created a new post (in this role) to support the changes and new strategy.Reporting into the newly appointed Head of Procurement this role will be managing the end to end procurement process across a variety of categories, day to day management of suppliers, maintaining the contracts register and supporting the Head of Procurement with strategic decision making by providing analysis and reports.Building relationships with both educational and back office stakeholder's (such as Facilities and IT) in the schools, educating, supporting and ensuring best practice is adhered to will be a key element of the role, so strong interpersonal skills and being visible and engaged with stakeholder's is key.
