Procurement Specialist | Permanent| £43,000 + £1800 car allowance | Hybrid| 

Client: 

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in Kent, to recruit a Procurement Specialist on a permanent basis.

The role sits within the Procurement team, reporting directly to the Procurement Manager.  

As the Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering compliant framework competitions, drafting tender documentation and creating tender reports and contract award notices.

The role offers a hybrid working policy; 2 days in office; 3 days work from home

Role:

• Delivering compliant framework competitions and awards for a diverse range of customers
• Supporting customers by providing framework intelligence and data to support recommendations on routes to market
• Management of existing framework data and opportunities
• Delivering bespoke procurement solutions and advice to customers
• Delivery of framework/DPS procurements from design through to implementation
• Support the Procurement Manager on key procurement exercises including the delivery of frameworks and DPS’s and call-off projects from them

Individual:

• Awareness of PCR 2015 and Procurement Act 2023
• Knowledge and experience of Public Sector procurement processes and contracts
• Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills
