Business Systems Analyst

Our client is looking for a Product Analyst to join them on a full time permanent basis ASAP. You will work as part of a product team to deliver large scale projects that will ensure the delivery of a robust, efficient and user-friendly service to their customers across the enterprise and contribute to the product roadmap and backlog. You will be delivering high quality, documented requirements to ensure timely delivery of agreed workloads through well planned sprints and work with team members under the direction of the product owner to deliver defined strategy and future plans for the product line.

Key skills/experience

  • Education to Degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent qualifications and/or experience
  • Certification relevant to product line
  • CAP/CBAP or similar certification in Business or Systems Analysis
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • Delivering documented requirements to a backlog as user stories
  • Experience of delivering robust solutions using tools provided as part of the product set to agreed time, cost and quality levels
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering using agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of best practice in analysis techniques
  • In depth knowledge of agile practices, able to explain and evangelise to colleagues in other teams and departments
  • Knowledge of the product line, an understanding of relevant business processes and challenges faced by operational teams
  • Knowledge of Data Protection and/or GDPR
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to document and explain complex problems in a clear and succinct way to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to ensure focus on outcomes and customer experience over roles and responsibilities, acting as a role model to inspire others
