They are seeking a Product Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest quality in their cutting-edge products used in everything from hospitals to outer space.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the Business Unit, ensuring high-quality custom image sensors, Front End electronics, and Optical Systems meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Engage in effective project planning and control from bid to execution, ensuring robust quality assurance practices.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions in case of non-conformances.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate design and manufacturing risks, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Manage non-conformance with clearly defined containment, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation.
  • Facilitate customer reviews and audits and ensure compliance with customer and supply chain quality requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits based on a risk-based approach.
  • Administer co-authorisation and closure of permits, concessions, and Non-Conformance Report Boards (NRBs).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a Product/Quality Assurance role within space, aerospace, or defence industries.
  • Background in design and production for electro-mechanical parts and systems.
  • Experience with assemblies, electronics, and software is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of high-reliability parts and materials.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead problem-solving teams and think "outside of the box".
  • Strong organisational skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electronic/Mechanical Engineering preferred; minimum HNC/HND.
