Senior Product Manager - Insurance - Contract

Oliver James is partnering with an insurance client located in Germany to help them to find a Senior Product Manager to lead the management, development and optimisation of their personal lines insurance products on an initial temporary contract.

The role offers competitive daily rates, flexible work from home arrangements and the opportunity for a future permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining, enhancing, and managing personal lines insurance products to meet market needs and business goals
• Collaborating with internal teams to develop competitive pricing, risk segmentation, and profitability strategies
• Ensuring products adhere to regulations, filings, and legal requirements
• Analysing trends, tracking KPIs, and optimising product offerings based on customer insights and competitor analysis

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Product Manager within the insurance sector
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German
• Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and guidelines specific to German market
• Personal lines insurance experience (preferred)

Start Date: c. February-March 2025

Location: Northern Germany

Contract Duration: 6-month initial contract, with potential for extension or internalisation

Workload: 80-100%
