Our client, an innovative, global solutions based organisation, now requires an experienced Product Manager, who will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for their product portfolio, which incorporates cloud and SaaS based ranges, and will include defining and prioritising feature requests, as well as supporting new production introductions.

There will be flexible/ agile working with this role.

The Role:Reporting to the Global Product Director, as the Product Manager, you will work closely with various disciplines throughout the organisation to develop cohesive product plans that align with Group strategy.

You will also be responsible for, but not limited to:

• owning the process that translates customer, market, business and strategic requirements into functional/system specifications which focus on creating innovative, competitive and sustainable product roadmaps
• emphasising cloud and SaaS-based product solutions to enhance offerings
• managing the complete product lifecycle of the product portfolio from inception to retirement
• evaluating and defining project prioritisation based on market insight, product line strategy and Group goals
• identifying and evaluating new product opportunities to increase competitiveness and revenues
• planning and supporting new product introductions, ensuring the availability of comprehensive product documentation, training, and marketing collateral
• developing relationships with internal customers to deliver innovative and quality-driven products, leading to external customer satisfaction and business growth
• establishing good working relationships with current and future suppliers
• leading strong backlog grooming and feature prioritisation efforts aligned with standard Agile practices

The Candidate:Ideally of graduate standard, preferably from within an electronics, IT or marketing/commercial based discipline, candidates for the Product Manager role will also be able to demonstrate that they have:

• previous experience of working in a product or portfolio management role, ideally connected to cloud or SaaS based products
• in depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles, with experience of product lifecycle management and new product development
• experience of driving UI/UX differentiation
• attention to detail, to ensure that all output aligns with both business needs and technical constraints
• experience in project and change management
• the ability to be analytical, strategic and results driven with a strong commitment to success
• a solutions based thinker with a strong customer focus and outstanding organisational skills

In addition, for this Product Manager role, candidates should also have:

• the capability to be a hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and a positive, professional attitude

Candidates for the Product Manager role should note that there will be c. 35% travel and fieldwork with this role.
