Job Summary:

  • We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist with a strong background in finance, technology, and data to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing marketing strategies to position on our cutting-edge fintech insights and data solution in the market. This exciting new role involves a combination of strategic analysis, messaging, product positioning, and collaboration on with product, sales, data and design teams to drive growth and adoption of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning within finance, technology, and data segments. You’ll continuously monitor the competitive landscape and outline your findings in competitive analysis reports outlining major trends, competitor movements and strategic recommendations.

Product Positioning:

  • Develop clear and compelling product positioning and craft messaging that resonates with our target audiences, focusing on the unique value proposition of our financial and data technology solutions. You’ll do this by developing a messaging framework that will be adopted across marketing, sales and product teams.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Design and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product/feature launches, ensuring alignment with business goals and sales objectives. You’ll confidently deliver successful product launches with pre-set sales targets and market penetrations.

Increase Market Share and Product Awareness:

  • Drive increased market share and brand awareness through targeted marketing campaigns and partnerships. You’ll do this through effective PR with our third-party agency, digital marketing channels and partnerships, increasing market share in target segments through effective marketing strategies alongside the rest of the marketing team.

Drive Customer Acquisition and Engagement:

  • You’ll develop marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention, whilst simultaneously reducing customer churn through effective messaging, targeted campaigns and feedback integration.

Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with our internal marketing team to create marketing collateral, including white papers, social content, case studies, presentations, and digital content, tailored to finance, accounting and SME audiences.

Sales Enablement:

  • Develop and deliver tools and training for the sales team to improve product understanding and enhance their ability to engage clients effectively.

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Support the lifecycle of our products, including product updates, feature releases, and retirement strategies, ensuring continuous alignment with market demands.

Customer Insights:

  • Gather feedback from clients, sales teams, and customer support to refine marketing strategies and inform product development. You’ll be adept at collecting customer feedback through surveys, interviews and direct sales interactions and will use these insights in monthly/quarterly feedback reports to help with development of features for our products.

Competitive Intelligence:

  • Monitor competitors in the financial technology space, analyse their product offerings, and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Eduction: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field is a nice to have.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within tech, SaaS, or data driven environments.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, data analytics, and software solutions. Experience in the FinTech space is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret market data and financial trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex concepts into easy-to-understand messages.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Management: Strong organisational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM software, and analytic platforms.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative thinker who can develop innovative solutions to overcome market challenges and drive product success.
  • Agile: Familiarity with Agile development processes.

Salary : 55000 - 62000
