About the role

Join our Development team in Brighton where you'll be designing and executing test plans for hardware and software products, ensuring the stability, security, efficiency and effectiveness of Paxton products and services.

  • Develop and execute test plans for electro-mechanical products, ensuring compliance with requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with design teams to review requirements, understand specifications, and create test methodologies.
  • Document and analyse test results, supporting hardware performance improvements.
  • Identify risks and propose solutions in complex engineering projects.
  • Create electro-mechanical test equipment and coordinate with sub-contractors for timely delivery.
  • Support Test Technicians through test plans and implementation.
  • Produce designs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation for test systems.
  • Maintain test systems, investigating and fixing failures for accuracy.
  • Provide clear technical updates on progress and issues to project teams.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple test activities efficiently.
  • Support departments by testing fault reports and field issues from customer sites.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role, working with electronics, circuit layouts and electro-mechanical design.
