Production Engineer positon - Galaxy Personnel : Job Details

Role – Production Engineer roleLocation –Mildenhall, Suffolk Working hours – Monday to Friday - 6am - 2.30pm or 1.30pm - 10.00pm - fixed shifts Capacity of role – Permanent positionSalary – Between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + shift premium.Our client is a reputable and well established business who is looking to add to their production team with a Production Engineer.Main duties will include -  Maintaining and repairing multispindle lathe machines and automated assembly equipment Diagnosing faults related to machine wear and product quality Assisting with machine operation to support production output when needed Investigating and implementing process improvements and cost-saving measures Providing training and support for new and existing team members Using maintenance software to log and complete tasksCandidate Attributes -  Have 5-10 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably 24/7 or shift-based Possess a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with multispindle lathes or automated assembly machines Be self-motivated, disciplined, and a great team playerSkills:Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Machinery, machine operation, good communication skills, Qualifications:Own driving licenceKeywords:Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Machinery, machine operation, good communication skills,
