About the Role:
We are working with an innovative company that specializes in light and pixel technology, crafting immersive experiences for global retailers, brands, and entertainment venues. They are seeking a Production Manager to lead the production of cutting-edge events and installations. Based in London, with international projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to bring large-scale immersive experiences to life both in the UK and abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Manage the planning and delivery of technical productions, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Resource Coordination: Work closely with external suppliers, contractors, and resources to maintain high standards across all project elements.
- Documentation: Prepare key project documents such as budgets, crew schedules, risk assessments, and carbon impact reports.
- Logistics Management: Oversee the efficient procurement and scheduling of all logistics related to each project.
- Stakeholder Communication: Promote clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Onsite Leadership: Lead onsite management, ensuring the successful delivery of assigned projects.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary client contact, managing expectations and clarifying strategic project requirements.
- Business Development: Support the Client Services team with technical recommendations and pricing for new business opportunities.
- Innovation Advocacy: Introduce new technologies and techniques, encouraging knowledge sharing within the team.
- Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing while maintaining high quality.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience managing project budgets of £100k+.
- Solid understanding of production disciplines such as Audio, Lighting, Video, Rigging, Staging, and Power Distribution.
- Knowledge of video and lighting technology, including LED displays, projection techniques, and entertainment lighting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and practical expertise.
- Experience leading teams on-site for large-scale events.
- Proficiency in IT applications, particularly MS Office (Excel).
- CAD drawing skills in Vectorworks, SketchUp, or AutoCAD are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
