Production Manager

• £40-45k plus annual bonus
• Widnes
• 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• No shift work, daytime working hours

What is expected?

• Oversee daily production, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
• Plan, monitor, and improve production schedules.
• Champion safety, quality, and efficiency across the board.
• Lead and develop your team to meet KPIs and hit deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce waste.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.

The main focus of the role will be overseeing the efficient running and control of the production operation along with managing a team.

You will play a vital role in ensuring high quality standards are maintained working in a collaborative setting alongside a supportive & talented senior management team.

This is a strategic role managing the planning, coordination and general management of production along with leading from the front with a 'hands on’ approach’ fostering an ethos of excellence.

What would make you a perfect fit?

• Proven management experience in production or manufacturing.
• Strong people skills—able to coach, lead, and inspire a team.
• Confident problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems and strong IT skills.
• A hands-on leader who’s ready to roll up their sleeves when needed.

• Exposure of lean working practices and methodologies would be advantageous.
