Are you an experienced leader in FMCG manufacturing with a passion for driving operational excellence and empowering teams?

Elevation Recruitment are extremely pleased to be exclusively working with a global FMCG Manufacturer to recruit a Production Manager to join their facility in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team, implement lean manufacturing principles, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Manager include:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse production team to deliver business objectives
  • Champion lean manufacturing techniques to optimise processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, implementing corrective actions where necessary
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, fostering a culture of safety-first
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to achieve production targets
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality or delivery
  • Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional development within the team

We’re looking for Production Managers with the below skills & experience:

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in an FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies, including tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding KPIs
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to fostering a safe working environment
