Production Manager - Meridian Business Support : Job Details

Are you a Production Manager from the world of manufacturing, who would like to make your mark within the growing manufacturing function at the stunning new offices of an established business where your work will make an impact on client projects around the world?Our client, a well established manufacturer and distributor of bespoke products have an exciting Production Manager opportunity within their operation, where you will be responsible for planning, organising and structuring resources across packing, assembly, finishing and manufacturing to ensure the "on time in full" fulfilment of customer orders.  This will also involve developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance standards, and increasing the efficiency of processes and procedures whilst line managing and developing your team.Your new Production Manager role will involve:

• Implementing and improving processes and procedures, including planning to ensure the best use of resources
• Implementing and improving quality assurance procedures
• Creating and improving best practice across all manufacturing teams such as finishing, assembly, packing and shipping
• Creating and maintaining HSE standards
• Motivating, leading and supporting your team
• Budget and cost control responsibility 
• Scheduling production activities to ensure "on time in full" requirements are met

I am very interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as a Production Manager, Head of Production, Manufacturing Manager, or Head of Manufacturing, within an industrial manufacturing business.  Working knowledge of tools including MES, MRP and MPS, and a production management related qualification is definitely of interest too.Salary for this position is: £55,000 to £65,000 p.a.
