Must have your own transport (car, motorbike, push bike, scooter) or live locally, as there are no train or bus links available to get to and from work.

• Full-time, temporary to permanent.
• 8-Hour shift, 40-hours per week, 5 days per week.
• Afternoon Shift Start 2pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends).
• Saturdays paid at time and a half if you want to work them.
• Bank holidays worked replaced with time off in lieu.

Pay Rate: £11.44 to £12.81 per hour (based on experience). Reviewed on successful completion of probation period!

The role will require physical and manual tasks in the warehouse using Pallett Trucks, supporting a conveyor belt production line, stacking products, unloading, and loading, and ensuring the correct products are brought from the warehouse to the production line, so that production can be completed on time, ready for distribution to clients.

Shift Patterns For a New Starter:

• First Week Induction Training Could Potentially Be: 06:00am – 14:15pm or 14:00pm to 22:15pm, Monday to Friday (trainer availability depending).
• Afternoon Shifts Once Induction Training week Completed: 14:00pm – 22:15pm, Monday – Friday
• Potential Night Shifts Available in 2025 (if Wanted): 22:00pm - 06:00am, Monday – Friday*

Once you are trained and confident then you may be required to support in other shifts across the business, if you are able to, and have been properly trained.

*Potential of shift changes next year, moving to a working week of Sunday – Thursday, (no date for this to take effect).

Career Progression and Financials:

• In your first trial / induction week you will be on £11.44ph.
• From week two your hourly rate will increase to £12.01 minimum.
• If you have dairy / food production experience, hourly rate could increase to £12.71 / £12.81ph.

The hourly rates above after week 1 will include an uplift for working the afternoon shift. These pay rates are not set in stone and can increase during your 12-week working trial, if you are able to prove you are reliable and have relevant food production and dairy experience, there is also an assessment and pay review after 12-weeks, based on progression and career development.

Duties:

• Working in a busy Production Line and Goods-in warehouse team.
• Supporting the production line conveyor belt and food production process.
• Following written instructions on daily work sheets.
• Listing products needed for the shift for the production and machine operators.
• Lifting, carrying, and handling products up to 25KG, (sacks of products, containers, using pallet trucks, walking up and down stairways, etc).
• Movement of product around factory automation lines by hand or using Pallett Trucks.
• Following precise instructions with hygiene, health, and safety checks.

Experience Preferred:

• Any food production and or dairy experience / transferable skills will be preferred and could gain you a higher hourly pay rate.
• Must be eligible to work full-time permanent in the UK.

Due to the rural location, working hours, and lack of any reliable public transport links, you will need your own car, motorbike, scooter. If you live locally then you can travel 20-minutes by bike to get to and from work every day, but it will be up and down dark country roads.
