The role involves contributing to the efficient running of the production process, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Handle and prepare materials as required for production processes.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Pack, label, and organise products for distribution.
- Follow all production schedules and instructions to meet targets and deadlines.
- Support with stock management and inventory control when necessary.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to perform quality checks with accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and duties as required.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
As the successful Production Operative, you will earn £12.16 per hour and will be employed initially on a temporary basis with a view to being employed on a permanent basis within 13 weeks. You'll work 6am - 6pm four days a week spread across Monday to Friday (no night or weekend work), then you'll enjoy three days off!With the right application there is the potential to quickly progress into a Team Leader position and you'll also have the added benefit of free food available every day.
