Production Operator - Adecco : Job Details

Our client, a leading organisation in the industry, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as a Production Operator.

In this temporary to permanent role, you will play a crucial part in the production process, operating machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient production of steel. With a competitive hourly rate of £13.30, plus bonuses after 12 weeks, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Hours : Monday to Friday 7am- 3.30pm Monday to Friday

Bonus paid after 12 weeks

As a Steel Operator/Production Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating bending machinery and tools, following instructions to complete production tasks
• Performing physical/manual work, including lifting and moving steel bars
• Prioritising and completing production activities according to instructions
• Setting up or adjusting equipment based on manufacturing specifications
• Monitoring product quality and taking appropriate action when needed
• Maintaining accurate production records for analysis
• Using measuring tapes and operating overhead cranes (training provided)
• Working in a heavy industry steel environment that requires heavy lifting and manual work
