Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company, in their search for a Production Planner to work in their leading facility in Gwynedd. For the successful Production Planner our client is offering:
- Up to £37,000 per annum DOE
- Days shifts (39 hours per week)
- Permanent Position
- Potential for some flexibility in start/finish times
- Opportunity for progression
- Early finish on Fridays
The role - Production Planner:
- Direct responsibility for planning, scheduling, and coordinating factory manufacturing activity across multiple departments
- Schedule manufacturing orders and ensure internal schedules and customer requirements are met
- Plan and execute the flow of procured material from the supplier into the factory ensuring inventory performance to targets
- Negotiate purchase order supplier quotes to achieve purchasing productivity and supplier cost management
- Manage inventory to ensure strategic inventory design targets are on plan
- Manage assigned product to meet customer service and inventory plans
- Report on key responsibilities and key process indicators
What our client is looking for in a Production Planner:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience in planning and procurement - ESSENTIAL
- An excellent understanding of materials, mechanics, and production manufacturing processes
- Highly literate and numerate, able to investigate problems and analyse data
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of ERP Systems - ESSENTIAL
