Location: Middlesbrough (Full-Time, On-Site)Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)Start Date: January 2025

Job Purpose

As a Production Planner, you will oversee and plan production activities while managing on-site projects. This dual-focus role involves ensuring the smooth execution of manufacturing processes and the effective coordination of site-based work, achieving customer deadlines and project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain detailed production schedules to meet project requirements and customer deadlines.
  • Coordinate on-site works, ensuring the availability of materials, personnel, and other resources.
  • Track production progress and address delays or challenges proactively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production, engineering, and project management, to align on timelines and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and on-site schedules.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding production and on-site activities.
  • Uphold health and safety standards across all operations.
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in production planning, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in planning software and tools, along with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in industrial settings.
  • Capability to work independently and make confident decisions.
