Job Purpose
As a Production Planner, you will oversee and plan production activities while managing on-site projects. This dual-focus role involves ensuring the smooth execution of manufacturing processes and the effective coordination of site-based work, achieving customer deadlines and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed production schedules to meet project requirements and customer deadlines.
- Coordinate on-site works, ensuring the availability of materials, personnel, and other resources.
- Track production progress and address delays or challenges proactively.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, engineering, and project management, to align on timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and on-site schedules.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding production and on-site activities.
- Uphold health and safety standards across all operations.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in production planning, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in planning software and tools, along with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in industrial settings.
- Capability to work independently and make confident decisions.
