We're seeking an Production Planner for a key role in our Procurement & Supply Chain Department within a Industrial/Manufacturing operation.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of material planning, scheduling, and inventory control.

Description
The Production planner will be responsible for;
- Manage material planning and inventory control for assembly level planning.
- Ensure timely and efficient scheduling of procurement activities.
- Coordinate with various departments for smooth workflow.
- Implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Monitor supply chain activities to avoid delays and complications.
- Work closely with suppliers and negotiate contracts as required.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the Procurement & Supply Chain Department.
- Contribute to the overall success of the industrial/manufacturing operations.
Profile
A successful Production Planner should have:
- Qualifications in supply chain management or a related field.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- A good understanding of procurement processes in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Commutable daily to Gloucester
Job Offer
