We're seeking an Production Planner for a key role in our Procurement & Supply Chain Department within a Industrial/Manufacturing operation.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of material planning, scheduling, and inventory control.

Description

The Production planner will be responsible for;

• Manage material planning and inventory control for assembly level planning.
• Ensure timely and efficient scheduling of procurement activities.
• Coordinate with various departments for smooth workflow.
• Implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
• Monitor supply chain activities to avoid delays and complications.
• Work closely with suppliers and negotiate contracts as required.
• Foster a collaborative environment within the Procurement & Supply Chain Department.
• Contribute to the overall success of the industrial/manufacturing operations.

Profile

A successful Production Planner should have:

• Qualifications in supply chain management or a related field.
• Proficiency in inventory management software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• A good understanding of procurement processes in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Commutable daily to Gloucester

Job Offer
