The Role

As a Professional Development Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our professional development (PD) programmes. This role requires an organised, adaptable individual who will manage the administration of our PD cycles, coordinate with participants and programme directors, and support on-site events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee application processes, review submissions, communicate acceptance, and provide comprehensive programme information
  • Coordinate logistics with programme directors, venues, and stakeholders to ensure seamless session delivery
  • Attend PD programmes, assist with setup, materials distribution, and participant needs, ensuring a smooth experience
  • Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks such as travel bookings and general organisational support
  • Track attendance, distribute programme materials, and ensure facilities are ready for each programme

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a detail-orientated, proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. About you:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in admin support or event management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
  • Knowledge of GDPR, Health & Safety, and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives

You may also have:

  • Experience in professional development or educational administration
  • Health & Safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, Fire Warden)
  • Experience in charity or SME sectors or knowledge-based organisations
