Role Overview:
We are seeking a Regulatory Programme Manager to lead the Trade & Transaction Reporting (T&TR) portfolio. The role will involve managing a cross-regulatory programme covering EMIR Refit, Hong Kong MA, Canadian Regulations, SFTR, and other regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on position where you will step into project management (PM) or business analyst (BA) duties when necessary. You will formalise governance, RAID management, and escalation processes, while effectively managing senior stakeholders and leading steering committee meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver the T&TR portfolio, ensuring successful outcomes across multiple regulations.
Provide hands-on support by stepping into PM or BA roles when needed.
Establish formal governance, RAID management, and escalation processes.
Lead senior stakeholder steering committee meetings, ensuring effective communication.
Collaborate with operational and change management teams to align with business objectives.
Interpret various regulatory requirements (EMIR, MIFID, SFTR, HKMA, Canadian Regulations, CFTC, etc.) and integrate them into a cohesive delivery plan.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Strong experience as a hands-on Programme Manager with the ability to step into PM or BA roles as required.
Solid knowledge of Trade & Transaction Reporting (T&TR) regulations and the ability to work across multiple regulatory frameworks.
Excellent governance, RAID management, and escalation processes.
Strong senior stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience leading steering committees.
General knowledge of the trade lifecycle, with the ability to differentiate between FX, Repo, or Derivative trade requirements in regulatory contexts.
Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and methodical approach.
Self-starter with a “can do, will do” attitude and excellent attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with regulatory reporting systems and workflows.
Knowledge of the financial services industry, especially within a regulatory framework.
